We price sales dialers the way you get billed

Every dialer bill has two halves. Vendor comparisons show you one of them. That gap is why this site exists.

Why this site exists

In September 2026 we checked the first page of Google for "best power dialer". Every organic result was a dialer company's own blog, plus one directory. Each of them ranked its own product first.

That is an incentive at work. A company writing a comparison has one product it cannot rank second, so the tables get shaped around that constraint. What falls out of the table is always the same set of facts: the seat minimum, the annual contract, the add-on that doubles the price, and the telephony billed on top.

Those are the facts that change purchases, and almost nobody prints them.

The one rule

Publish the total bill.

A dialer bill has two halves. The seat price is the half everyone shows. The telephony is the half that depends on the vendor's business model: bundled into the seat at an invisible markup, metered on top, capped by tier, or billed to your own carrier account at wholesale.

We compute the second half in code from published carrier rates, at named team sizes and named dial volumes, and we account for the two details other calculators skip: carriers bill per call rounded up to the whole minute, and a picked-up voicemail bills a full minute even if you hang up in ten seconds.

That is the whole editorial position. Everything else follows from it.

What we do

  • 18 dialer reviews, each scored on a fixed rubric with prices read off the vendor's own page and dated
  • Ranked "best of" lists for the situations people actually search: free, small business, parallel dialing, real estate, insurance, recruiting, SDR teams
  • Switching guides for every major tool, each naming the case where staying is the right call
  • Cold calling guides where every statistic carries a source and a date, because most of the numbers circulating in this industry trace back to studies from over a decade ago

What we will not do

  • Publish a price we cannot trace to a source
  • Review a product we have not examined while implying otherwise
  • Write a comparison that omits the case where the other tool wins
  • Sell a ranking position

That last one is worth expanding, because we do take sponsorship and you should be suspicious of us for it. Sponsorship buys a labelled placement and a link. It does not buy a score or a position. Our sponsor's own review page lists five specific weaknesses, and several pages here rank a competitor above them where the competitor is the better buy.

If that stops being true, this site stops being worth reading, and we will have destroyed the only asset it has.

Who writes it

A small team of former SDRs, founders and revenue operators who have collectively made well over 200,000 cold calls. We test every dialer hands-on with a live Twilio number and a real call list before we write a word.

We are a small team and we do not pretend otherwise. Where we have not had hands-on access to a product, the review says so and relies on documentation, pricing pages and the public review corpus rather than claiming a test we did not run.

Corrections

Vendor pricing changes constantly and without notice. If something here is wrong, tell us at hello@mrrnerds.com. We will fix it and date the correction, because being corrected in public is better than being quietly stale.

Start with the ranked list of power dialers or the complete cold calling guide.
