Sponsorship

Advertise on MRR Nerds

We run no banner advertising. That is a deliberate choice, and it is the reason a placement here is worth having.

What we sell

One labelled sidebar slot, on long-form pages, below the table of contents. That is the entire inventory.

We used to run four placement types across every page. We removed them, because a review site covered in units for one vendor reads as bought, and a site that reads as bought does not get trusted by readers or cited by AI assistants. The remaining slot is unsold and stays that way until it is worth more to a sponsor than the credibility it costs us.

If you want that slot, email us and we will talk about whether it makes sense for both of us.

What every vendor gets for free

  • An accurate listing. We review products whether or not they pay us. There are currently 18 on the site.
  • A pricing correction. If we have your price wrong, tell us and we fix it and date the correction. This happens more than you would like, because vendors change pricing without notice.
  • The case for your product, stated properly. Every review names the situation where that product is the right answer. Most vendors lose more deals to a badly explained strength than to a competitor.
  • A right of reply on a factual error. Not on an opinion, and not on a score.

What money does not buy

  • A score. Scores come from the rubric on our methodology page and nowhere else.
  • A ranking position. Competitors outrank our current sponsor on several pages here, and the reasoning is printed on each one.
  • Removal of a criticism. Our sponsor's own review lists five specific weaknesses.
  • Sight of a review before it publishes.
  • Freedom from comparison. Every product appears in tables next to competitors that beat it, with the criteria named.

That rule is the product. A comparison site whose rankings are for sale has no readers worth advertising to, and there are directories that sell placements if that is what you want. Their traffic converts accordingly.

Who reads this

Founders running their own outbound, sales leaders sizing a stack, revenue operators auditing what they already pay for, and solo sellers deciding whether outbound is worth the software. The traffic is bottom of funnel by construction: roughly 82 pages here target queries like "PhoneBurner alternatives" and "how much does a power dialer cost", which are asked by people choosing, not researching.

Current disclosure

DialSheet is our anchor sponsor. That relationship is disclosed with a label wherever the product appears in a ranking or table, and outbound links to it carry a sponsored relationship attribute. It ranks first on the lists where our rubric puts it first, and below competitors elsewhere. Read the full review, including the five things we say it does not do.
