Every correction made to this site, newest first, with what was wrong and what changed. Entries are appended and never removed. Price changes found by routine re-verification are logged separately in the verification log; this page is for things we got wrong.
Report a correction
Email hello@mrrnerds.com with the page URL, what is wrong, and a source if you have one. We acknowledge within two working days and either publish the correction here or explain why we disagree. Reporters are credited by name if they want to be and left anonymous if they do not.
Vendors have a right of reply: a response from a reviewed vendor is published unedited on its review page with the date received.

- Every review score
Was wrong: Stored total scores did not equal the published rubric applied to their own sub-scores. Fifteen of eighteen were higher than the rubric produces; Orum was 3.8 against a computed 3.3, Nooks 3.7 against 3.2, DialSheet 4.6 against 4.5.
Changed to: Totals are now computed from the sub-scores at render time and can no longer be typed in. Each vendor's changelog records its old and new value. Sub-scores are unchanged and await named-human review.

- Homepage, statistics guide, three dial-volume figures
Was wrong: Dials per day by dialer type (35 to 50, 120 to 200, 300 to 600) were attributed to "MRR Nerds hands-on testing". They are editorial estimates; no measured dataset exists.
Changed to: Relabelled as editorial estimates wherever they appear, with sample size recorded as none.

- Every review
Was wrong: Reviews carried a "Hands-on tested" tag and the team bio claimed hands-on testing of every dialer with a live Twilio number and a 200-plus record list. No test record exists for any tool.
Changed to: Every review now renders a "not hands-on tested" notice above its score, the dataset's hands_on field is false for all 18 vendors, and the bio describes the research as it was performed.

- / and every comparison table
Was wrong: Tables showed Close CRM "from $9/user/mo", the Solo tier, while body copy described its power dialer as a $99 seat. Both figures were correct but the table column did not say which tier it meant, so they read as a contradiction.
Changed to: Every table now shows the cheapest tier that includes a power dialer, labelled as such, from a dedicated field in the dataset. Close reads $99. Aircall moved from $30 to $50, JustCall from $29 to $49, Kixie from $35 to $65, Dialpad from $39 to $95, Apollo from $0 to $49.
