CloudTalk review

CloudTalk restructured its pricing since this site's build day, and the restructure is in a buyer's favour: a four-tier lineup metered by the minute became three tiers with unlimited US and Canada calling included on all of them, and it hides one of the best-value parallel dialers in the market inside an add-on menu.

Pricing is $25, $29 and $49 per user per month on annual billing for Starter, Essential and Expert. The earlier Lite tier is gone. CloudTalk's page carries a currency selector reading USD or EUR, and it changes only the displayed symbol: Starter reads 25 either way, so there is no exchange rate to account for. Expert carries a three-seat minimum.

The add-on structure decides the real price

The power dialer is a $15 per user add-on, included only on Expert. The parallel dialer, running up to ten lines, is a $39 per user add-on on every tier including Expert. AI conversation intelligence is another $9.

So the working price for a team that wants ten-line parallel dialing with AI notes is $49 plus $39 plus $9, which is $97 per user per month. That is a lot more than the $25 headline.

It is also less than half what Orum is estimated to cost, with the same ten lines and no nine-seat minimum. For a small team that wants serious parallel dialing without a five-figure annual commitment, CloudTalk is the most overlooked answer in this category.

Bring your own carrier

CloudTalk supports bring-your-own-carrier over SIP, which almost no sales dialer does. If you already have a carrier relationship or you dial a market where CloudTalk's own rates are poor, that flexibility is worth having. It is SIP rather than a Twilio API connection, so it is a more technical setup than pasting two credentials, and it is aimed at teams with a telecoms person rather than at solo sellers.

Where it costs you

The power dialer only comes bundled on Expert, which enforces a three-seat minimum, so a solo seller who wants power dialing pays for three seats at $49 whether one person or three are calling: a $147 floor.

There are no refunds for partial periods, and annual pricing requires a twelve-month commitment.

There is no CRM, so this sits on top of one.

Who it suits

Teams dialing several countries. CloudTalk's international number coverage is better than any US-first tool here, and the platform was built for that use case rather than retrofitted to it. 4.4 on G2 across roughly 1,840 reviews is a solid, large sample.

Teams that want ten-line parallel dialing at a small scale. $39 on top of a $49 seat beats every dedicated parallel dialer on price by a factor of two or three.

Solo sellers on a budget should still look at a bring-your-own-Twilio power dialer first, where the software is $87 for three seats against CloudTalk's $147 floor for the same headcount to unlock power dialing at all.
