Head to head
Kixie vs PhoneBurner: which power dialer is worth the money?
PhoneBurner publishes $140 to $183 a seat with unlimited calling. Kixie removed its prices and add-ons push the real bill to $109 to $290. We compare what each one actually costs.

Pick Kixie if
Your reps work from CRM records rather than a list, you use HubSpot or Pipedrive, and you want multi-line dialing on up to four lines.
Pick PhoneBurner if
You want a published price, unlimited calling included, and a fast single-line dialer with good voicemail drop, and you do not need CRM-embedded dialing.
Consider neither if
Both are expensive for what they do. JustCall at $49 a seat gives you a real power dialer with unlimited outbound minutes and over a hundred integrations at a third of the price, and a bring-your-own-Twilio power dialer at $29 a month for three seats costs less than one PhoneBurner seat for a whole team.

The pricing problem is the story
PhoneBurner publishes three prices. You can budget from its website.
Kixie does not. Its pricing page names three tiers and prices none of them. Third-party guides verified in March 2026 list roughly $35, $65 and $95 per user per month on annual billing, and that is not the number you pay. AI human voice detection is around $30 a user, DNC compliance tooling around $20, and ConnectionBoost, which is the feature that actually lifts connect rates, around $50 plus $1 a number. Third-party analysis puts realistic spend at $109 to $290 a seat.
A team budgeting $95 and landing at $215 is the single most common Kixie story, and it is a predictable one.
PhoneBurner's price is high and it is the price.
Contract terms
Kixie requires annual prepayment below ten users, renews billing quarterly, and permits downgrades only in the final 30 days of the term. Trustpilot reviews repeatedly describe contract lock-in and difficult number porting on exit, which matters because a phone number is a business asset.
PhoneBurner offers monthly and annual, with no seat minimum. Its Trustpilot rating is 3.3, with complaints concentrated on billing and cancellation friction, so neither vendor comes out of this section clean.
What each one is actually better at
Kixie: the CRM integration. Dialing happens inside the HubSpot or Pipedrive record, with automatic logging, local presence and SMS in the CRM's own interface. If your reps work from records rather than a list, this is a genuine productivity difference and no bring-your-own-Twilio tool comes close to matching it.
Kixie: multi-line. Up to four lines at the top tier, against PhoneBurner's one. That is a real capability gap.
PhoneBurner: the dialing itself. Fast, unfussy, with instant transitions between calls, one-key dispositions, voicemail drop and one-click follow-up email. PhoneBurner has been doing this longer than almost anyone and it shows.
PhoneBurner: the CRM. It has one. Kixie does not, so Kixie's price is on top of whatever CRM you already pay for.
PhoneBurner: predictability. Published prices, no add-on maze, monthly billing available.
Support, which is a real differentiator here
Kixie's support is chat and email during business hours, with no phone line and no weekend cover. That is a strange gap for a company selling a phone product, and it shows up in reviews when something breaks on a Friday.
PhoneBurner's support is better resourced, which is part of what the higher price buys.
What both of them cost against the alternative
Three seats, each dialing 150 numbers a working day.
| Option | Monthly software | Telephony | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| PhoneBurner Standard | $420 | included | ~$420 |
| Kixie multi-line | $285 | included | $285 + add-ons |
| JustCall Pro | $147 | included | ~$147 |
| Bring-your-own-Twilio pack pricing | $29 | ~$50 | ~$79 |
Over a year, that is roughly $5,040 for PhoneBurner against $948 for a pack-priced tool with wholesale telephony, for three people placing one call at a time from a list.
The honest defence of the expensive options is that Kixie's HubSpot integration and PhoneBurner's unlimited minutes are both real. The question is whether they are worth $4,000 a year for three people, and for most teams the answer is no.
Which to buy
Kixie, if your CRM is where the work happens and you will use the integration daily. Get the full add-on list in writing before signing, and read the downgrade terms.
PhoneBurner, if you want one predictable bill, unlimited talk time and do not need CRM-embedded dialing. Check your actual monthly talk minutes first: the unlimited plan only beats wholesale telephony above roughly 9,000 minutes a rep.
Neither, if the honest requirement is a fast dialer against a list. That is a $29 to $49 problem, not a $140 to $290 one.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Kixie or PhoneBurner cheaper?
- PhoneBurner's published price of $140 to $183 per user per month is higher than Kixie's third-party estimated $35 to $95, but Kixie's real all-in spend is commonly reported at $109 to $290 a seat once add-ons like AI human voice detection at around $30, DNC compliance at around $20 and ConnectionBoost at around $50 are included. PhoneBurner is more expensive at the entry point and more predictable overall.
- Does PhoneBurner have a multi-line dialer?
- No. PhoneBurner is single line only and does not offer parallel or multi-line dialing at any tier. Kixie's top tier does multi-line power dialing on up to four lines, which is the clearest capability gap between the two.
- Why doesn't Kixie publish its pricing?
- Kixie removed dollar figures from its pricing page and now names three tiers without pricing them, directing buyers to a sales conversation. Third-party guides verified in March 2026 list roughly $35, $65 and $95 per user per month on annual billing, but the add-on structure means the quoted tier is rarely the final bill.
